Judy was born February 7, 1945 to Inez and Eugene Souchereau. Our family will provide your family with comfort, a warm place to share your grief with loved ones, and professional attention to the smallest detail. Cremation has taken place, details for a service are forthcoming. The family would be thankful for donations to The Kidney Foundation of Canada or The Norfolk General Hospital Foundation.

Roberta loved her family, Grace United Church, Port Dover and volunteering at local schools helping children learn to read. During these difficult times it must be mentioned about the whole staff of Norview Lodge – Chestnut Hill. For 15 months they cared for Roberta as all the rest of the residents – taking on the important roles of more than nurse or PSW. Due to Covid 19 regulations, cremation has taken place. A family funeral service and celebration of life to be held at a later date.

After working a 12 hour night shift, she would come home to make our birthday cakes or sew our Halloween costumes. She was an avid reader and kept up on current affairs. She was the best cook, decorator, gardener, dog mom and baker. Her butter tarts, pie crust, lasagna and risotto were sublime. Judy never gave up and was always cheerful and upbeat and was a trooper to her last hours.

Removing shoes is a common approach to the problem of not having a good pair of shoes. However, most of the gyms freely available to us don’t allow Marines to take off their shoes for hygiene reasons.
